Volo dell’Angelo - David Kilpatrick

David Kilpatrick won the UK Press PR & Stock Photographer of the Year 2009 title in the Master Photography Awards held in October 2009, and an Award of Excellence winner in 2010. David’s work has appeared in books, newspapers and magazines worldwide for the last 40 years and he is a Fellow of both the BIPP and the MPA as well as a qualified journalist.

As photo enthusiast magazine and website publishers, we test equipment and findi exciting new ways to use it. Volo dell’Angelo was the perfect place to see what a 180° view of the world in HD1080p video would be like.

Thanks to special permission from Volo dell’Angelo we were able to shoot this video with Sony’s pocketable NEX system camera, fisheye and ultrawide lens converters. It was a great experience and we hope do do it again some day!
