Angel Flight terms and conditions

IMPORTANT
During the summer season it’s forbidden to make the flight wearing a singlet, you need to wear a T-SHIRT

As this is an activity carried out mainly outdoors in the mountains, there is the possibility of sudden thunderstorms even in summer, so on days when there are adverse weather forecasts, you must have a rainproof K-Way and small backpack umbrellas to avoid getting wet during the walking routes.

For the transport of personal items (wallet, keys or small personal effects) small pouches and backpacks up to a maximum thickness of 12 cm are allowed.
In the event that the user shows up with backpacks or bags of larger dimensions, he is required to leave them and not at the ticket offices, otherwise he will not be allowed to fly.

RULES FOR SINGLE FLIGHT
The flight of the angel is an emotional attractor for everyone: it is open to users aged 16 and over whose weight is between 35 and 120 kg. The only limitation concerns pregnant women. Minimum height allowed 135 cm.

RULES FOR THE COUPLE FLYGHT
For the couple of people flying together, the total weight including clothing cannot exceed 150 kilos, the weight control is carried out at the ticket office.
The difference in weight between people flying in pairs must not exceed 40 kg.
For children flying with a parent or an adult, the minimum height allowed must be 135 cm and the minimum weight must be 35 kg.
Minimum height allowed for each person 135 cm.

Booking informations

Your reservation includes departure and return: two flights that will allow you to try a double emotion regardless of the starting place (Castelmezzano or Pietrapertosa).
Our online booking system allows you to choose your departure town and the time slot, and then return.

The departure and arrival are not just in town but nearby: the walk to the departure station will give you the opportunity to enjoy the nature of this magic place.

1) TICKETS AND MANDATORY CHECK-IN

Before the flight it is necessary to arrive 1 hour in advance at the ticket office of the departure station for all mandatory safety checks: weight, height, minimum age of users.

The printed reservation does not replace the ticket that must be picked up at the ticket office in the town chosen as departure: the ticket includes: departure and return and the shuttle service.
Taking into account the travel time to reach the departures customers are invited to strictly follow these guidelines:
- If you start from Pietrapertosa: arrive at the ticket office 1 hour before the flight.
- If you start from Castemezzano: arrive at the ticket office 1 hour before the flight.

For departures and returns you must use the time slots indicated on the ticket.
The customer that not arrive to the tickets office the day and time reported on the reservation will not be refunded.

2) CLOTHES

Your clothing must be comfortable and able to make you adequately tackle the mountain routes; for safety reasons, flight users must wear closed shoes. We recommend the use of goggles to protect the eyes during the flight, especially for contact lens wearers. Users wearing eyeglasses will be able to safely wear them during the flight. Ladies are advised to wear trousers.

The use of personal cameras and cameras will not be allowed during the flight. If you wish to resume your flight, you can rent the cameras made available at the ticket office when you collect your ticket.

3) Recommendations

IMPORTANT
The departure and arrival stations of the flights are located in the midst of luxuriant and uncontaminated nature: therefore, users are advised that there are no toilets near the departure and arrival stations. Of course you can take advantage of the toilets made available in the two inhabited centers.

Reaching the departures requires a route to be carried out partly by shuttle bus (* free for flight users upon presentation of the ticket) and partly on foot. In the case of Castelmezzano, the departure station is a 25-minute walk (trekking) from the point where you are accompanied by the shuttle, a necessary path whatever the departure station chosen for the outbound flight, as the ticket includes flights round trip and therefore in one of the two cases it will be necessary to travel it. It is therefore necessary to wear shoes suitable for a trekking route.

Users are strongly advised to bring their favorite water or soft drinks to tackle the walk that leads to the departures of the two municipalities in the best conditions. The average travel times calculated for the two routes are as follows:
- starting point Pietrapertosa: walk approx. 10 min.
- Castelmezzano departure: walk 25 min. ca.

This recommendation is essential to ensure correct information and a pleasant journey; you will appreciate the beauty of the wild and lunar landscape without surprises.

4) CANCELLATION OF FLIGHT

In case of cancellation the reservation will not be refunded.

5) SUSPENSION OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE PLANTS

The Company Volo dell’Angelo Scarl reserves the right to suspend flight activities during an opening day and / or to close the lifts in advance on a scheduled opening day for technical reasons, opportunities, or due to overt adverse weather conditions.
In this case, users in possession of a ticket for the Flight of the Angel that cannot be carried out due to suspension of plant activities can agree on a new date for the flight with the ticket offices or receive an open replacement voucher valid for 24 months from the ticket offices.
On days with summer or sudden storms, the Company reserves the right to wait up to a couple of hours before declaring closure. Finally, if the lifts close after making the first flight, the second will be replaced by the shuttle service without any voucher.
Tickets are non-refundable.
